

He was born July 14, 1943 in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Frew Corbett.
Mr. Corbett was a 1962 graduate of Rostraver High School.
He was a retired UMWA coal miner and welder. He had served in the United States Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Corbett was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Carmichaels, the Moose Lodge #461 Waynesburg, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #4793 Waynesburg, and the American Legion Post #954 Jefferson.
Mr. Corbett was also a former head coach of the Jefferson Little League Pirates and a member of Camp Wheremiat.
On September 6, 1969 he married, Joy Richardson, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David R. Corbett of Mather, Shannon (Mary Pecjak) Corbett of Fredericktown, and Wesley (Kellie McFarland) Corbett of Mather; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Anne and Carrie Nicole Corbett; two brothers, Joseph Corbett of Southern Pines, NC and Donald (Sue) Corbett of Waynesburg.
Deceased is a sister-in-law, Judy Corbett.
Friends will be received from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m., the hour of services on Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. Gerry Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
