Dennis W. Franks

He was born November 1, 1950 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Lebro and Wilma Lauderbach Franks.

Denny was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and had served in the United States Army.

He owned and operated Catering by Dennis Franks for many years. He valued his connection with the people that he knew. Denny was active in his community and always had a smile for everyone, but above all he was a devoted family man.

He was a member of Mather Christian Church.

On July 29, 1978 he married his sweetheart, Cindy Filer, who survives.

Also surviving are two children, Dennis M. Franks of Dudley, NC and Courtney (Dave) Ignaski of Rices Landing.

Deceased is a daughter, Natalie Dawn Franks.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd. Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor; where service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Steve Smythers officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg.
