

He was born on November 21, 1945, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Edward and Sylvia Murphy Morris.
Edward graduated from Monessen High School and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He became a machine operator at Caterpillar and retired from there.
Ed was a member of the American Legion Post #400 Carmichaels, American Legion #330 in Waynesburg, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Carmichaels.
Eddie loved golf, sports, the casino, movies, carpentry and home renovation. He enjoyed helping friends, family, and neighbors with various home projects. He made dear friends at the casino that meant a great deal to him.
Surviving are two children, Craig E. Morris of Aurora, OH and Michelle (Max) Rudgers of Brunswick, ME; four grandchildren Gabrielle and Shannon Morris and Maxwell and Samantha Rudgers; a sister Patricia Bogden of Waynesburg and nephews Frank Bogden, Brian Bogden and Brad Bogden; a dear friend Robert Bell.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday June 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels, PA 15320, with Military Honors being accorded.
