
He was born October 10, 1933 in Nemacolin, a son of the late John William and Mary Orrell Taylor Dugan.
Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He worked most all of his life as a steelworker at Washington Steel, Washington and later on as a security guard.
On June 11, 1960 he married Helen L. McNeely, who died February 25, 2014.
Bob lived most of his life in Washington and the last 18 months he had made his home with his nephew and niece, Jim and Janine, in Carmichaels.
Surviving are two sisters, Donna Vavrek of Nemacolin and Carol (Herman) Bowser of Crucible.
Deceased in addition to his wife are a son, George Sherman Dugan; two brothers, Major James Dugan and Harry Dugan.
At the request of the deceased there is no public viewing. Interment was held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, with the Rev. Thomas Fowler officiating. Military Rites was accorded by the United States Army and the South Hills Honor Guard. Arrangements were entrusted to the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P.
