Glenna S. McDougal, 70 of Big Sandy, TN, formerly of Waynesburg (Castile Ridge), died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from injuries suffered in a horse riding accident. She was born July 15, 1950 in Bristol, VA, a daughter of the late Glenn H. and Helen Moore Clore. Glenna was a graduate of California College and held a master's degree from West Virginia University. She had worked for Central Greene School District as a teacher and in administration. Glenna enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, horseback riding, camping, hosting parties, loves ice cream, and spending time with friends and family. On July 20, 1995 she married Earl McDougal, who survives. Also surviving are two step-children, Dawn (Brian) Hayes of Coal Center and Shawn McDougal of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Brittney Ruble, Shawn Ruble and Bradley Ruble; a sister, Coleen Harvey of Washington; and a brother Ray Clore of Eighty-Four. Deceased is a brother, Fred Clore.

Earl and family,

I was so saddened to hear of Glenna’s passing. She was an amazing, kind person. I will be forever thankful for all of the help you both gave me with Glory. My heart goes out to all of Glenna’s family and friends. She will be missed by many.
