Gloria L. Novotny

She was born April 16, 1946 in Glendale, AZ.

Mrs. Novotny had formerly worked as a real estate agent and at Kaufmann’s Department store.

She had lived most of her life in the Clairton area and the last two years in Rices Landing.

Mrs. Novotny enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, cooking, crocheting, painting and politics.

On October 27, 1967 she married, Lawrence C. Novotny, who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Michelle Basinger and her husband Earnest of Rices Landing, Anthony Novotny and his wife Lisa of Virginia Beach, VA, Annette Arizmendi and her husband Joseph of Virginia Beach, VA; eight grandchildren, James Basilone Jr. (Erica), Joshua Basilone (Cristen), Joseph Arizmendi, Aleczandri Arizmendi, Adrianna Arizmendi, Annette Luttrull (Dave), Michelle Marsh (Jamie), Maranda O’Neill (Sean); 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia Mallernee (Jerry) of San Antonio, TX, Alice Garcia of Selma, CA; two brothers, Ralph Rascon (Isabelle) of Fresco, CA and Tony Barrazo of Fresco, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Condolences may be expressed online at www.behm-funeralhomes.com.
