

She was born July 27, 1927 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Jesse Raymond and Margarette Page Moore.
Mrs. Summersgill was a member of the Millsboro Presbyterian Church where she had held the positions of Deacon, Elder and Sunday School Teacher.
She was employed by the Pryor Bus Lines and then for the Bethlehem Center School District, where she retired after twenty-five years.
She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, and was an accomplished seamstress.
Mrs. Summersgill was a graduate of Waynesburg High School Class of 1946 where she never missed a reunion. She also found enjoyment in attending Jim Clayton’s Auctions. She lived most of her life in Fredericktown.
She was the wife of the late John W. Summersgill, who died on December 17, 1980. Also deceased are two sisters, Dorothy Pryor and Elizabeth Moore.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol (Randy) Teegarden of Rices Landing, and Mary (Ronald) Virgili of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Catherine (companion, Jeff Jento) Wilson of Dry Tavern, Robert (Rachael) Wilson of Uniontown, Dustin (Cassie) Teegarden of Carmichaels, Ronald (Nikkie) Virgili of Waynesburg, and Ryan (Sherri) Virgili of Waynesburg; 11 great grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Ashton (Larry) Booze, Christian Wilson, Aubree Wilson, Kelsey McCollum, Konnor McCollum, Ryan Hunter Virgili, Kendyl Virgili, Nicole Coleman, Brian Coleman, and Jade Bellotti; a great-great grandson, Jacob Wilson; a brother, Jesse Raymond Moore of Finleyville; and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of Mrs. Summersgill the services will be private and a graveside service will be officiated by the Rev. Geoff Rach. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Condolences may be expressed online at www.behm-funeralhomes.com.
