Mary Jane Semonick

She was born December 28, 1929, in Isabella, a daughter of the late John and Rose Zalar Garkovich.

Mary Jane was retired from Republic Sportswear and was Catholic.

On July 6, 1948, she married Pete Semonick, who died December 17, 1998.

Surviving are five children, Melanie Semonick Dufalla (Paul Weitzel) of Waynesburg, Dianna Semonick (George) Maglas of Filbert, Cheryl Semonick of Waynesburg, Richard Semonick of Waynesburg, and Karla Semonick (Craig Lauffer) of Smock; five grandchildren, Kenny M. Dufalla, David Dufalla, Carlo Maglas, Erik Maglas and Tara Chedester; three great grandchildren, Marissa Zetty, Lily Dufalla, Adalay Hall, Liam Dufalla, and Lakyn Dufalla; a sister-in-law, Carol Garkovich.

Deceased are three sisters, Frances Zgola, Louise Penn, and Ann Lednovich; four brothers, Ignac Garkovich, Mike Garkovich, Carl Garkovich, and Paul Garkovich.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:30 am, with Pastor Sandy Conti officiating.
