

She was born May 27, 1922 in Sycamore, a daughter of the late Sherman and Esther Iams Pounds.
Mrs. DeMurry was a 1940 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
She was a homemaker and at one time was an assistant postmistress at the Sycamore Post Office.
Mrs. DeMurry enjoyed crocheting, reading and camping with her husband.
On February 20, 1949 she married Frederick “Mike” DeMurry, who died February 13, 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Everly and her husband Charles of Greensboro and Linda Filardi and her husband Joe of Brownsville, with whom she had made her home; four grandchildren, Michelle Bruno Gribble, Jodi Bruno, Stacy Bruno and Joel Filardi; six great grandchildren, Natasha Ratica, Kodey Bruno, Lacey Bruno, Alisha Gribble, Nathan Gribble and Chandler Filardi; a great-great granddaughter, McKenzie Ratica.
Deceased is a brother, Daniel E. Pounds.
