Where do I begin ...... I had the privilege to care for this gentle man the last years of his life , his stories and life experiences always impressed me , and it was how he saw the best in others around him that will be with me always . I hope the family knows how much he was loved on the fourth floor .

I met Owen when my father, Eugene Painter, moved to Southminster. He and Owen shared a table for meals. They both moved to Southmont where they again shared a table at meals until Dad passed away. Owen always greeted us with a smile and a hello. We will miss him.
