October, 2015 - Almost 4 years

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one will ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

It's hard describing a heartache
All because it's a one of a kind of thing
A serious injury
And a whole lot of endless pain
If it was a storm
I'd compare to a hurricane
Oh it's even got a name

If it was a drink
It would be a strong one
If it was a sad song
It would be a long one
If it was a color
It would be a deep deep blue
But if we're talking about a heartache
IT WOULD BE YOU!

If it was a full moon
It would be a total eclipse
If it was a tidal wave
It would sink a thousand ships
If it was a blizzard
It would be a record breaking cold
If it was a lie
It would be the biggest story you've ever told

If it was a drink
It would be a strong one
If it was a sad song
It would be a long one
If it was a color
It would be a deep deep blue
But if we're talking about a heartache
IT WOULD BE YOU!

God chose you to be my Father! You were never supposed to die. Now its been over a year since you left this world. Your passing has changed who I am... but I will always be your daughter. I am a woman who will always live with a broken heart because of the loss of her father. My desire to so much want to turn back time to change some of the past is overwhelming. Im so sorry! I will carry that burden. I pray that you dont take it with you. My wish is for you to smile in heavan for eternity, with all the love that I feel for you. I am who I am...all because of you! I will always be with you, miss you, and love you so much my daddy. I dont know how to deal with your loss but I do know that I will be with you again, someday...and oh how I anticipate the joy of that day. Rest Easy Dad. I see you as you sore through the sky and I smile! Love Your Daughter "Crud"

While mere words cannot take the hurt or grief away, take comfort in the fact Bobo was loved; love is immortal and your love has allowed him to achieve immortality. He will live forever in your minds, memories and heart.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Bogden family.
