Rodney A. Faddis

He was born May 16, 1966 in Waynesburg, a son of Richard and Joyce Whoolery Faddis of Rices Landing.

Mr. Faddis was a 1984 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.

He was a Transportation Operator with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Waynesburg and had formerly worked for Bob Goslin at Goslin Sales in Dry Tavern.

Mr. Faddis was a member of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local #2108, Rices Landing Volunteer Fire Company, and a member and past trustee of the Rices Landing Athletic Club; he was also a social member of the Rices Landing American Legion, Post #816.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Bill Faddis and his wife Jennifer, and David Faddis and his wife Prudence both of Rices Landing; three nieces, Nicole, Emily and Morgan and two nephews, Chase and Mason.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a blessing service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 with the Rev. Fr. John R. Bauer officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Rices Landing Volunteer Fire Company.
