She was born June 4, 1924 in Cumberland Township, a daughter of the late Rememberance and Lana Cree Gwynn.
Sara was a 1942 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She had worked as a tour escort for Central Cab Company of Waynesburg for many years and enjoyed her trips very much.
Sara lived most all of her life in Jefferson Township and Cumberland Township, where she was a member of the Cumberland Township Farm Women.
She was a member, choir member and elder emeritus in the First Christian Church of Carmichaels. She was also a former member of the Greene Hills Bowling League and Red Hat Club.
On October 15, 1954 she married Clifford R. Reynolds, who died January 23, 1997.
Surviving are four children, Robert L. (Debra) Reynolds of Carmichaels, Karen (Tom) Willis of Jefferson, Debbie (Tom) Coss of Waynesburg, and Wanda Miller of Carmichaels; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Arnold of Asheboro, NC; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dale W. Reynolds; five brothers, Jesse R. Gwynn, Floyd Gwynn, Thomas Gwynn, Howard Gwynn, and George Gwynn; four sisters, Martha Gwynn, Pearl Cramer, Velma Gwynn and Edna Fuller.
