She was born November 29, 1955 in Jefferson, a daughter of the late John W. “Beanie” Seals and Dorothy Fischer Seals.
Sue Ellen was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School.
She worked for the County of Greene and was the Director of the Greene County Tax Claim office since 2006.
Sue Ellen was Baptist by faith and held a cosmetology license.
On October 5, 2008 she married John C. “Jack” Kingan Jr., who died November 6, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Sarah (Levi) Shaffer of Fredericktown, Courtney (Bryan) Long of Jefferson, and Brittany (Erik) Morrison of Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Jordyn, Payge, Olivya, Tate, Alisa, Addalynne and Samuel; a brother, John F. Seals of Newton Falls, OH; sisters, Donna Huffman of Waynesburg, Kay Nowlin of Carmichael, CA, Judy Campbell of Geneva, NY and Becky Walker of Waynesburg; a step-sister, Rosalyn Newlon of Morgantown, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Buddy Hawk officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Autistic Life Skills Class, Jefferson-Morgan School District, P.O. Box 158, Jefferson, PA 15344.
