She was born on May 31, 1936 in Bobtown, a daughter of the late Geno and Mildred Barzanti.
Known by most as "Chickie", she and her husband operated Demaske's Tavern in Jefferson for many years.
On October 25, 1958 she married Stanley J. Demaske, who died May 11, 1984. On August 29, 1991 she married Arthur C. Smitley, who died November 9, 1996.
She was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are two sons, Nick (Robin) Demaske of Waynesburg and Marko Demaske of Jefferson; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Tony Demaske.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Jefferson Community Center, Jefferson United Methodist Church, Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344
