Dear Anita, Thanks for the memories...I truly enjoyed your company. We had lots of laughs and fun. Your's was a contagious laugh . If we we at a movie, show, dinner or just going to Boca to get your special shoes, we had a relaxing and nice time.  I was happy to share my My friends with as you did with me.  Former City commissioner Gloria Grimyser has expressed her sadness.  I thank you for your kindness to my family, my grandmother, Great Aunt and brother.  You have been a special, kind generous friend.  I know you always did your best to do the right thing and make those around you happy.  It broke my heart to hear the news of journey to heaven. 
 I was shocked to hear the news.  You and I kept in touch while you were in Brighton Gardens. I called there ounce and they said you left and would not be back.  I later called the assisted living center (the lady from Brighton referred me to the place you went to) (not sure which one). 
The lady at the desk told me you had passed away. Stupid me did not call or contact your family.  Here I could have been visiting you all these years.  I did not and would not ever intentionally forget you...
I must add, I was always impressed in how enthusiastic and happy you were when you spoke of how much you loved your family and it showed how much they loved you too. 
You are at rest at last.  
You made it to "The Impossible Dream" because you made the world a better place.

I will always be indebted to Anita, a Jensen native, who shared photographs of the Ricou and the Tilton families and wrote down her memories so history could be recorded accurately. She was generous and encouraging and was always so proud of her family.  May pleasent memories of Anita replace the grief her loved ones feel today. Sandy Thurlow
