

Born in Jensen Beach, Florida she was a lifelong resident of Martin County.
Before retiring, Anita was an elementary school teacher in both the Martin County and St. Lucie County school districts.
She was a charter member in the Martin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the American Legion Post 126 Auxiliary. She was a cofounder and president of Tri County Mental Health Association and the Jensen Beach-Rio United Fund, now known as the United Way.
Anita is survived by her sons Frank. A. Wacha, Jr.(Janice) of Jensen Beach, FL, Warner R. Wacha (Nancy) of Haleiwa, HI; brother C. Norris Tilton of Jensen Beach, FL; granddaughters Jennifer Bank, Kathryn Wacha and Chelsey Matheson;
grandson, Warner William Wacha, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Ransom R. Tilton and Warner Tilton.
She was the daughter of pioneers W.B and Anita R. Tilton, and the granddaughter of R.R. and J. Gertrude Ricou.
