

Born in Bronx, New York on February 13, 1942, Anthony spent the majority of his career as a Teamster Steward before “retiring” to Florida and working at Home Depot for 15 years. Anthony loved cooking, celebrating his Italian heritage, his family, and making others happy. He cherished being a grandfather for the past 5 years.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Umberto and Irpinia Ferrante, his sister, Elizabeth Luisi, his Brother-in-law, Anthony Luisi, and his Nephews, Eric Cuccinelli and Michael Ferrante.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ferrante, his daughters, Rachel VonDreele and Frankie (Francesca) Knaak, his grandsons, Joseph and Lincoln Paesani, his siblings, Albert (Sonny) Ferrante, Michael Ferrante, and Maria Cuccinelli, and his many nieces and nephews.
Anthony will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and kindness to everyone he encountered.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming months.
