Edward C. Brunell Sr. "Grumpy / Butch" peacefully passed away at his home with his family at his side on March 1, 2019. He was a devoted father and loyal friend. He had a love for Disney, golf, fishing, boating, along with his many meals at Denny's. Ed served in the U.S. Army and belonged to the Teamster's U.S.A.. He was a former member of Greater Wildwood and Deptford Elk's Lodge.

Ed was predeceased by his loving wife, Eleanor Brunell nee Biggins and a son , Christopher Brunell.

He is survived by his son, Edward C. Brunell Jr. and his wife Diana Brunell nee Gant;, 2 grandchildren, Katherine and Christian Brunell, of New Jersey; daughter, Barbara Lynn Howard nee Brunell and her husband Stephen Brunks; grandchildren, Melissa, Timothy, and Jeramie Howard of Port St. Lucie, Florida; son, Jeffrey Brunell and his wife, Sharon nee Timmons, grandchildren, Kameron and Kylie Brunell, of Historical New Castle, Delaware; and a sister, Caryl Elford nee Brunell of Columbia, Ohio and Fort Pierce, Florida.

I was hired by Fritz Co where Ed Brunell was my boss. I found out they had pool out as to how long I would make it working with Ed. He's had such a gentle personality lol. But I guess I fooled them all because I lasted the whole time till he retired. He was a great Boss!! He will be missed.

Be at peace Ed knowing how much joy and happiness you gave to each and every person that you've known. As your son-in-law you treated me like family, I thank you for being that person.
