Edward M. Costello

Mr. Costello was born in Princeton, NJ to Edward and Carmelita Holmes Costello. He has been a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 4 years. He moved to Jensen Beach over 30 years ago coming from Lindenhurst, NY. Prior to retirement, Edward proudly served in the United States Air Force for 21 years, which included service in the 85th Bombardment Squadron. Prior to serving in the Air Force, Edward worked for American Airlines. After his retirement from the Air Force he worked as an airplane and engine mechanic for TWA for 20 years, a jet engine instructor for Ethiopian Airlines, as well as a jet engine instructor for the airlines in Saudi Arabia. Edward was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stuart, and loved to build model airplanes.

Edward is survived by his daughter Donna Lee Yocum and her husband Donald H. Yocum II of Stuart, FL; son Patrick E. Costello and his wife Brenda of Jensen Beach, FL; grandchildren Keri Ann Costello, Michael Paul Amrhein, Chantal Marie Amrhein, Matthew Costello, and Travis Costello; great grandson Gavin Austin Gentry, and great granddaughters Hannah Ashleigh Gentry and Lillianna Aarolynn Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeannette.

Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd., Jensen Beach, FL 34957, with a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Jensen Beach.
