Fred was born April 4, 1957 in Hollywood, Florida. He was preceded by his parents James and Edith (MacLaughlin) Walden and his oldest brother James Stephen Walden.
Fred is survived by the love of his life, Denise Heakin his daughters Meghan (Brandon) Mabry and Ashley (Matt) Liner, his sisters Patricia Nader and Cynthia Walden and his brother Robert Walden, grandchildren Merritt and Mallie Mabry and Sloan Clell and Sawyer Liner.
He had been an avid surfer, golfer and skier who loved boating and fishing. His mechanical curiosity served him well during his career with Pratt Whitney where he developed two patents. After a catastrophic injury, which he never let define him he found new passions in many things including guitar music, building and flying remote control airplanes and fast cars. His friends and family describe him as intellectual, intelligent, witty, great story teller and life of the party, determined to live life to the fullest. He was especially proud of he and Denise being grandparents.
