She came to the United States when she was 3 years old through Ellis Island, NY and first lived in Thomas, West Virginia before moving to Cumberland, MD. Geraldine moved to Norristown, PA as a young adult to live with Mimi where she worked her whole career in a sewing factory.
She retired to Port Saint Lucie, FL with her 3 sisters (Josephine, Mimi & Regina) in 1994 and became a daily fixture at Holy Family Catholic Church for 26 years. In her retirement years she loved gardening which is evident from the many white flowers called Bridal Bouquet that she has shared with Holy Family, her friends, family and any stranger who wanted one. Her other hobbies were making rosaries that have been shipped around the world, sewing for the church and family, dog sitting, being
the official backseat driver, and ruling the household from her spot on the couch. Geraldine had a memory that could dictate the exact conversation from her earliest childhood memory which made her the fascinating story teller and historian for the family. Trouble seemed to find Geraldine as her stories about her antics with Mimi
as a kid are retold.
Geraldine would drop everything for her family. She was at Amy's side whenever needed throughout Jimmy, Tommy and Gina's lives and continued that love of caring when she began dog sitting with Regina and babysitting her grandnieces and grandnephews.
