Geraldine M. Lacasse

peacefully in her home early Monday morning, July 1st, 2025. She was cared

for by her three children the past 14 months.Holding hands with both her daughters,

listening to Moon River she quietly took her last breath, as Jesus gently took her

to heaven.

Gerry was born on January 29th 1930. She had a zest for life, adventure,

travel, golf, dancing, faith and seeing the good in everything and everyone. She fell in love

and married the man of her dreams, Robert D. LaCasse, August 22nd.

They enjoyed 51 happy years together. Working for the Pentagon for over thirty years,

as the right-hand man to Brigadier Generals, Gerry earned many accommodations and

promotions throughout her career. While employed full time, she also was an amazing

mother, homemaker, neighbor and friend.

Surviving is her son Michael LaCasse (Lisa) and her daughters, Michelle Lacy (Curtis) and

Mary Kay Hawley (Bob). She adored her five Grandchildren: Chole Faller, Melanie

Hawley, Kayla LaCasse, Katie Eide and Tyler LaCasse. Mom’s beautiful sister

Edie Pollauf continues to thrive.

Funeral mass will be held on July 9th, 10:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic

Church, 2225 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. From 12:00 to 3:00 in the

Fairwinds Cove Clubhouse we will Celebrate her incredible life. In honor of our mother

wear your brightest colorful outfits.
