Glenn Alan Morrison

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Alan Morrison on June 23, 2026 at 12:59 a.m. He was born in Malden, MA on June 20, 1942. Glenn celebrated his 84th birthday and Father’s Day with his family including his brother Michael.

Glenn was a dedicated husband to Rosalind, his loving wife of 64 years, and a devoted father to his daughters Tammy and Debby. He was a proud grandfather of Michael Zewiey and great grandfather of Logan Glenn Warren Zewiey. Glenn was raised in Wakefield, MA as a young child until moving to Beverly, MA where he met his soon-to-be wife Rosalind Jane Adams when she was 8 and he was 9 years old. They lived across the street from each other. He married the love of his life Rosalind (Rozzie Jane) on March 9, 1962. Together they raised two girls, Tammy Lynn Morrison (Ross) and Debby Robyn Morrison. As parents Glenn and Roz taught their girls deep core values of life and the love of the beach and ocean. As a family, they enjoyed boating, family cookouts, camping, swimming, going to the beach, sailing, family vacations, raising and caring for, dogs, fish and ducks, the love of cars and boats, fishing, yacht club fun events, Salem Willows fun times, printing, making arts and crafts, jewelry, painting, and stained glass.

Glenn worked many jobs including Kings Grant, Snowcrest, Morrison & Sons Cabinetry, Harold Coultz printing Christmas cards, The Curhan Company in Gloucester, MA, Court Square Press in Boston, MA, Cabot Auto in Beverly, MA, as a tow truck driver and in Boston for Daniels Printing, Riverside Press in Cambridge, MA and Wolf Composition in Reading, MA and finally teaching. He loved driving the international tow truck “Mr. Ed”. His kids loved it too. It was a clever name derived from Ed Bernier, the station owner, and Mister Ed the TV show. Glenn became a teacher when his Beverly Trades School Graphic Arts teacher, Harold Coultz became ill and needed a substitute. Mr. Coultz asked that Glenn, who graduated from his class, be his substitute. He became a Graphic Arts teacher then and found his calling. He was the Graphic Arts teacher at BridgewaterRaynham Regional High School (BR) in Bridgewater, MA from 1972 to 2006. He also taught math, drafting and wood shop at BR. Students made boats, inlaid tables, and cousins in wood shop. He worked diligently to earn his bachelor’s degree attending Bridgewater State, Fitchburg and Lexington colleges while working full time as a teacher. Glenn was not only a teacher, but a mentor to so many of his print shop students. His students through the years would call and visit him. One student named Skip even rented a place at Nettles Island in March of 2026 to visit and talk with Moe. We couldn’t get a word in between those two. His students shared stories and told him about their prosperous careers from what he had taught them. Another student, Michael McQuire had Glenn officiate his wedding. Glenn “Moe” had lifetime bonds with fellow teachers of BR. They talked to each other often.

Glenn was very active in Bridgwater and Raynham, MA. His daughter Debby ran the D’Angelo Sandwich Shop in Bridgwater, MA for 40 years and has now changed careers back to teaching. Glenn ran the Adult Education classes at BR for many years; taking over for Cal White (his former boss). Glenn taught Graphic Arts and Tammy took his class before becoming the stained-glass teacher for adult education herself. Glenn inspired his brother Mike to go into printing. He enjoyed a 52 year career being a printer.

Glenn & Liz Calef were founding members of the First Robotics Team 88 - TJ² with Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School & Johnson & Johnson. FIRST Robotics Competition Team 88 (TJ²) was a rookie team from Bridgewater, Massachusetts, that debuted in 1996. They competed with their robot at the 1996 National Championship, the "Hexagon Havoc" event, which was held at Epcot in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, from April 18–20, 1996. At the 1996 championship, Team 88's robot stood out for its pioneering use of pneumatic hooks—a design that allowed the machine to quickly grasp and release game pieces. This innovative engineering and performance on the field earned Team 88 the Best Offensive Round award at the national competition. Glenn retired from the team in 2019. Glenn told stories to everyone who met him about robotics teams. He encouraged them to learn more about robotics and to join their local teams. During a hospital stay in May of 2026, Glenn got to know a nurse from Long Island who was on her robotics team many years prior. He had lifelong bonds with fellow TJ2 members and was very close with Jack Phanuef & Liz Calef.

Glenn taught Stained Glass, Moe’s Crafts and Wood Carving at Nettles Island in Jensen Beach, FL. He was a member of the Men’s Club, Fishing Club, Lot Owner’s Association at Nettles Island throughout his time living in the community. He was a big part of Nettles Island and will be missed by all. Glenn shared so much passion for robotics and stained glass that all started in Bridgewater, MA. He loved what he did. His students of stained glass, Moe’s Crafts and wood carving had the privilege of having Moe as their instructor. He not only taught his students how to do stained glass art and wood carving, but he also made sure people in his classes connected with each other personally. Moe made his class have a mandatory “stop everything” and break for lunch during class. It was his way of making sure they all spent time together to personally know everybody and share stories. Glenn was a kind and creative man. He helped so many people with his wealth of knowledge and such detailed stories. His students said he was the light of the stained-glass class and will be truly missed.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Rosalind, his children, Tammy and Debby, his younger brother Michael Hunt Morrison, his great grandson Logan Glenn Warren Zewiey, niece Michelle Morrison, grand nephew Amedeo and grand niece Cyan, nephew Adam Morrison and grand nephew Nolan, his sister-in-law Marilyn Adams Ostalkiewicz, brother-in-law David Adams and his wife Kathleen, nieces, Kate Adams and her wife Kate Mercier-Adams, Kourtney Adams, Kim O’Sullivan, and lifelong friend Cynthia Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward (Ed) and Margaret Veronica Morrison, his grandson, Michael Zewiey, and lifelong friend, Glenn Terry.

Glenn’s kindness, shared wealth of stories and knowledge, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Glenn built long lasting relationships and memories that stand the test of time.

There are no services planned. As a final tribute to Glenn’s deep bond with the ocean, a traditional burial at sea will be conducted in front of Nettles Island beach. Family will have a private celebration of life. Family and friends will always be able to visit Glenn at the Nettles Island beach.
