Helen (Smith) Flynn, 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Palm City, Florida. Helen was born in New York, New York and lived in Jensen Beach for 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Flynn, a retired NYPD officer, and two brothers, Joseph and John Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Mary-Ellen Laliberte, and her son-in-law, Ted Laliberte, of Palm City, FL; son, Ray Flynn of New York, New York; six grandchildren, Valerie Laliberte, Nicole Laliberte Moreira, Christopher Laliberte, Dylan Flynn, Ashley Laliberte, and Matthew Laliberte; one great granddaughter, Avery Lamoureux; and one brother, James Smith, of Massachusetts. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Helen was a member of Stuart and Jensen Beach Elks #1870. She loved bowling. She had many friends and if she went somewhere she didn’t know someone, she made a friend before she left. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, Florida.
