She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Sheldon. She is survived by her children Billy Sheldon, Peggy Nardozzi, Sharon Matthews, and Dorothy Tatro and they want you to know that this feisty woman loved to give and get hugs, loved her family, loved sewing and creating all kinds of amazing fabric masterpieces, but most of all she loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
Irene almost made it to her 97th earthly birthday on August 24th, 2024, but, you know, as she would say " IT IS WHAT IT IS ".
A Celebration of Life for Irene will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. Family and friends may arrive at 1 p.m. and a gathering will follow after the the Celebration of Life until 4 p.m.
