Joan was born in Sayville, NY and moved to Jensen Beach 22 years ago coming from Sayville, NY.
She was of the Episcopalian faith.

Hait of Jensen Beach,FL, daughters Catherine Kierstead of Palm City, FL, Lauri Simonsen of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sandra Simonsen of Edgewater, FL, step son David Hait of Spring Hill, FL, step daughters Susan Lowry of Port St. Lucie, FL, Ellen Gugliotta of Sayville, NY, Barbara Hake of Miller Place, NY, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home with services at 3:00PM.
