John M Harris

John was born on August 26, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan and has been a resident of Jensen Beach for the past 16 years coming from Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

Before he retired he worked for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit for 35 years. He was the former Mayor of Dearborn Heights, Michigan and an avid traveller. He was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL.

Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Audrey; daughter, Nancy Paletko; sons, Michael and his wife Barbara, Mark and his wife Susan, Paul and his wife Jill; and his eleven grandchildren, Rowan, Alan, Marie, Eric, Ann, Troy, Grant, Steven, Julie, Ellen and David.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 12, 2014 at St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL.
