Were there flamingos in the yard, outside the funeral home? There should have been. When I think of Jon, I think of all the fun Flamingo tournaments at Rumbling Bald that he and Kay put on...all the flamingo trophies and do-dads that they picked up during their Florida vacations. He always put a smile on my face. My heartfelt sympathies to Kay and the rest of the family. May all your wonderful memories sustain you through this difficult time.

Dear Kay and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of Jon's death. We think of you both and speak of you both almost every time we pass your house. You are surely missed
by all your friends here at Rumbling Bald. We were waiting in expectation of your return. Jon will be missed so much here as he and you
did so much to enhance our golfing days with the Silver Streaks and the fantastic ten years of Flamingo Tournaments. John's sense of humor brought so much joy and laughter to us.

May you and your family find peace and joy in knowing that Jon made such an lasting impression in our community. His sense of humor and
his dedication to the chapel, the choir, to golf and to the community were remarkable.

Dear Kay and family,
We were so sorry to read of John's passing. I remember how close you were to one another and that you shared many interests. I can't recall seeing him without a smile on his face.

Although we haven't been in touch for many years, I have fond memories of you both and am happy that you have a large family with whom to share memories. I thought you might enjoy this terrific photo from 1987 or '88.

Fond wishes and sympathy,
Rodger and Jennie Wilson

What a kind man with a wonderful sense of humor . . . He will be truly missed by many. It was such a pleasure working for him as one of his teachers.

PS: Wonder if he kept my Poppin Fresh Pillsbury Dough Boy.

It was my privilege to teach with Jon as my Principal in Jonathan Alder schools many years ago. I could always count on his kindness, understanding, and professionalism during my years in JA. Jon certainly will be missed.
Please accept my deepest sympathy -
