Jose moved to Florida in 1971, having lived in West Virginia, Virginia, and the Philippines previously. Jose will be remembered as being a simple man, who was a hard worker. He lived a very disciplined and honorable life. He came to the United States with nothing and worked hard to become very successful. He loved helping others, and truly enjoyed his career as a physician. He cherished the time with his family and adored his grandson, Zane. He lived by his motto in life of "Always Try Your Best". In his spare time, Jose enjoyed old classic movies and reading.
Jose is survived by his wife, Brenda Chang; daughter, Jewell Chang (Sami); son, Joey Chang; and grandson, Zane Samiessoulh.
