She was larger than life, I owe so much to her and her generous spirit. When my newborn son , Nick was in the neonatal intensive care, she lied and said she was his grandmother, she wasn't old enough at the time . She taught my son Eric to dive and she gave us so many laughs. She was so special I am so sad that I just learned she past away three years ago. Stacy and Matnie I wish I had known earlier. Is she was special sorry we lost touch.

I remember when I first met Joyce in 1983, I was 13 years old. My life would dramatically change over the years, for the better after that. She believed in me when it seemed everyone gave up. She taught me so much about life, and business I don't know where to start.. She was an excellent grandmother to my Son, actually couldn't get any better, I truly believe that she has much to do with how he turned into such a great man. Thank you Joyce, for everything.

My dear friend Stacey and family,
I so sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose your mother. Her job here was done, she raised two beautiful daughters, and taught you every thing she could.
I will forever remember her for her big booming voice, screaming Stacey, when we got busted for having yet another party, at your beautiful home. I remember begging her to let us have a party, and promising to clean before and after. Dusting all that antique furniture, well, that memory will never leave me.
When I think of your mom, I think of a strong hard working woman, who loved her daughters so much and who wanted the best for them.
Know that she is always with you, cherish all those memories, and lean on each other for comfort.
Love you,

Becky Ayers

Doug, Stacey and Marnie
I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. Joyce was such a generous, likeable person. I enjoyed your visits when you all lived in Chicago and came down to Georgia for a visit. I'm sure she, Roger and Gwen are reconnecting in Heaven right now. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Becky Ayers & family

Remembering your Mom and Grandma, who always held her family close to her heart and always so happy and blessed to have you ALL in Her Life. Your Mama Joyce was so very genuine, caring, fun loving, and lived life to its fullest. She touched and blessed so many people. She would go up to strangers, and give them a compliment, which brought a huge smile to their face. I will always remember her laughter and feel so blessed to have known her. She has left this earth, but in spirit, I pray you feel her presence walking beside each of you every day. Her happiest of times was to be with her family and so loved to talk about her two "beautiful" daughters and her grandchildren. Your Mom/Grandma, would make it a point to always be a part of your lives, even now, while at Peace in Heaven. I know she always felt so blessed to have you in her life, as you are to have her in your hearts forever. Hold on to all the wonderful memories, knowing that she will always be with you, and forever knowing, just how very much she is loved by her family. Praying this comforts and brings you much Peace. Without a doubt, everyone can see by the way you all continue to live your life, with much love, care and concern for others, is a reflection of the love she gave, still paying it forward. GOD'S Blessings to you. Much Love to your family and Mama Joyce, for always making me feel so welcome, Jennifer

There is nothing like a mother's love. Joyce adored you all and is taking care of you from Heaven, as strong and powerful as she always was. Surrounded by the love of those she knew she would meet again.
