Kathleen's name showed up on my Facebook page out of the blue and that led me to this obituary. I had to check her father's obit to confirm that this was the same sweet girl from Stamford CT that I dated when we were in high school. It is so sad to see this now, after all these years.
"Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory".

It was with heartfelt sadness that I learned of Kathleen's untimely passing.  Kathleen and I worked together at Food For The Poor for over two years.  I always admired the love and caring she had for her daughter, grandson, and parents.  The passing of her father was very difficult for her, she spoke of him often.  I would like to offer my heartfelt sympathy in your time of sorrow.

What joy to read the expressions of sympathy for Kathleen, most particularly those from Food for the Poor!  She did not keep her light under a bushel basket when she was with them. This is my second posting, so many people from other departments have been giving us their condolence at Kathleen's passing she touched so many here at Food For The Poor in over 14 years of working here, they knew how much we at Speakers bureau loved her, we would have loved to have been able to send her off we cannot be there in body but she will always be in our prayers and hearts. Love you and miss you Kathleen you taught me so much when I first started to work here 12 years ago.
