Lucila was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and moved to Jensen Beach area two years ago coming from Pompano Beach, FL.
Lucila was a secretary for and Import/Export company in Puerto Rico for 6 years. She was a member of St Lucie Catholic Church in Port St Lucie, FL.
Survivors include her two daughters, Hildamar (Howard) Cummings of Deerfield, FL, Diana Fernandez of Hollywood, FL, three sons, George (Dorothy Lynn) of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Henry (Belinda) Fernandez of Port St Lucie, FL, Carlos Fernandez of Queens, NY, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Anibal Vasquez.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach chapel.
