

Margaret Mary Luthmann (Kemp), 97, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Palm City Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on January 29,1925 in North Bergen, New Jersey to William and Mary (Carr) Kemp.
Margaret worked at the Thomas J. Lipton Company in Hoboken, NJ where she met, and later married, her husband Reinhardt.
On Easter Sunday, April 17,1949, Margaret and Reinhardt were married and eventually settled their family in Wilton, Connecticut where they enjoyed swimming, boating and life in New England.
Maggie was a parishioner of St. Martin de Torres Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Daughters.
She was especially known for her fun spirit, great cooking, and always ready to help and care for many.
In 1995, and in retirement, Maggie and Rein's love of the ocean brought them to the Treasure Coast and their new home along the North Fork in Stuart, FL
Throughout their life together, they shared a love of traveling enjoying opportunities exploring and visiting family and friends, not only in the U.S. but also Hong Kong, and numerous trips to Europe where they could share in their grandson, Michael's, school years in Hamburg, Germany. Later, their favorite pastimes became enjoying visits from family and friends, fond memories of their trips and enjoying their river view.
Maggie was predeceased by her loving husband, Reinhardt of 69 years, and her sister, Dorothy Kemp.
She is survived by her children, Mary Margaret Laura, her husband, Paul, and Mark Reinhardt Luthmann, and his wife, Caroline, and her grandson, Michael Reinhardt Laura. Also, survived by her sister-in-law, Lydia Luthmann Smith (Robert) and Lydia's children Carol Smith Nowlin, her husband Robert, and Steven Richard Smith and his wife, LuEllen, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nephew, William Reinhardt Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Boulevard, Jensen Beach, FL followed by luncheon.
