Dear Vance and family, I am one of Mary Margret's (as I knew her by) cousins. (Walter and Mary Weir were my parents.) Weir wrote of your loss and I want to send my deepest sympathy to you. While I have not seen Mary for many years, I do remember visits to our Grandma Weir's Mukwonago home where aunts also resided, and having her there. On one occasion I was taken by Aunt Leda and Uncle Cecil to their Madison home to spend a couple of days with Mary. She, maybe, was 17 or so. We went out for the evening with some of her friends in one of their cars. I thought that was really special and very grown up.
May God bless and comfort you in your loss. And, may you be comforted by your memories with Mary. Rachel Weir Elger

Uncle Vance & family
I only learned of her passing this morning (Sunday) on my way to church.
I am so very sad for all of us--a candle has gone out in this world-just look at that picture!! Joy!
My most recent and probably will be a forever memory is when I came to visit you in 2008. I asked Aunt Mary if she had grandma Leda's lemon pie recipe. Yes, she did and I wrote it down....but later that day there was Aunt Mary (standing with all the pain from her hip) making that pie!!! That pie was a taste of heaven made by a beautiful angel. When we all get to heaven--I hope she has her own restaurant (maybe grandma Leda is with her right now planning it).
I really wish that I had called during these past few weeks. I am so sorry.
My God be with all of us-we lost such a beautiful person both inside and outside.
I will miss her.
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms.
She is in His arms right now. We must know that He is holding us as well.
Take good care of her God, til we meet again---we love her.
Blessings and love to all of you.
Mary Jo (Horswill) Pitts
