
Michael Dennis Crockett, 68, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, due to complications following heart surgery.
Mike was born November 1, 1948 in Eureka, California to Dale and June (Burns) Crockett. He graduated from Eureka High School in 1966, where he was active in baseball, swimming and cheer. Mike was a founding member and lead singer of a local band called the Soul Seekers.
Mike married Linda Ann (Francis) in 1967 and had two children, a daughter, Tawni Leigh (Gager) of Chico, California and a son, Michael Chad of Salem, Oregon. He worked as an X-Ray Technician and was a Platoon Sergeant in the Army National Guard.
Mike married Lorraine (Pierce) in 1978 and moved to Florida. Mike and Lori had a daughter, Caitlyn Michelle. While in Florida, he went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology. He retired from Florida Power and Light as a Computer System Manager and Shift Supervisor.
Mike is survived by his two children, Tawni (Joe) and Chad (Heather), his mother June and brother Randy of Eureka, CA, six grandchildren, Jourdan, Morgan, Taryn, Reas, Karson and Aidan and his goldendoodle, Niko. He was preceded in death by his father Dale, brother Darrell, his wife Lori and daughter Caitlyn.
Mike will be laid to rest next to his wife and daughter at Forest Hills Cemetery, 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990.
