OBITUARY
Nadir Baksh
April 7, 1955 – December 19, 2020
Dr. Nadir Baksh, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 19, 2020. We are all on earth to do God’s work in one form or another. Nadir was blessed with the ability to reach people’s hearts in their most vulnerable moments. He was a born psychologist, sensitive and loving husband to Laurie Murphy, wonderful father to his children, Shannon Murphy (Gary Fuduloff), David Murphy, Megan Murphy O’Neill (Patrick O’Neill), and Courtney Murphy. He spoiled his grandchildren with pleasure, including Grace O’Neill, Chloe O’Neill, Amelia O’Neill, Patrick O’Neill, Jr. Max Fuduloff and Molly Fuduloff. He was the best son anyone could have to his mother, Joan Davis. If anyone has a direct line to God, it is probably him. May he rest in peace, and look down upon us always. We are all completely heartbroken.

Dear Laurie
I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated at the loss of Nadir. I simply cannot believe it. I was no longer seeing him on a regular basis since he was so helpful to me however did see him recently. I can’t describe The admiration and respect I had for him.
My heart goes out to you and your children and grandchildren. I will try to touch base with you after Awhile and hopefully you will accept me as a patient.
I can’t imagine how he passed away and only hope it wasn’t Covid. I respect your wish for privacy at this time.. He was truly one in a million and I’m fortunate to have had the pleasure of having him help me and knowing him May he rest in eternal peace and look down on us always. Take care of yourself

Dearest Laurie and family,
All who knew Nadir are saddened by his sudden passing, he lived quietly but he was a remarkable man. He touched lives & was loved by everyone.
He was a good husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was kind & cared about others and when he graced us with that smile, it lit up the room.
Our lives are never truly ended - something of us always remains to touch hearts and illuminate lives, that is true of Nadir. He looked for the best in others & fave the best he had. We will miss this good man....
If there's anything I can do to help or support you in any way, I'm here for you. Love to you all. Linda

Dear sweet Laurie,
Words just can’t express how deeply heartbroken we are for you, your family and all who had the joy of knowing Nadir. He was a magnificent man. So driven to help the hurting and bring light where there was darkness. He was extraordinary, brilliant, kind, funny and had an inexplicable ability to just “know” people. Nadir came into our lives when we were just teenagers and we would not be who we are today without his trusted guidance. We will forever be eternally grateful for the grace, care and wisdom he blessed us with. Our hearts are aching with yours, Laurie. If there is anything we can do to help comfort you or ease your sorrow, we are here to hold you up. Love to you all.

My dearest friend Laurie...
It has been almost two weeks since Nadir left us and words still escape me to adequately express the sorrow I feel. You have always been there for me. Nadir joined with you to offer the greatest gift of friendship anyone could ask for. Whether being a caring parent to your kids or a loving devoted husband to you or a compassionate ear for his patients, Nadir remained a constant to all that were fortunate to know him. Somehow none of this seems real, conceivable or just. I will never ever forget the fishing trips he shared with my son Brian and the kindnesses he showed both of us.
My heartbreaks for you, Shannon, David, Megan and Courtney. Stay strong Laur. Nadir would want you to remain in these dark hours resilient and the best you can possibly be.
Love you Laur …. my bestest

Nadir Baksh was a lovely man of incomparable compassion. I first met him following a near fatal accident that befell my son. He was a source of comfort ,understanding and hope for both of us. The news of his death is truly a very sad shock. I know he will be sorely missed by many. My most sincere condolences to all his loving family and friends.

Dr Nadir was an incredible human, my shining beacon of light in a very dark world I found myself in. Recently we would laugh and talk not only about my struggles but also politics and the state of the world. I felt as though no matter how horrid things would get, it didn’t matter as I could rely on him each week to have positive words. He was an incredible man and his words of wisdom will stay with me forever. Laurie I am sending so much love to you. I still can’t believe he is gone but his impact on me and so many will be felt forever. Sending so much love to everyone who had the fortune of him coming into their life. 💜

Words totally escape me in this time of grief. The last time we spoke I told Dr. B how much I appreciated having him in my life for the past thirty odd years. For that I am grateful. Rest In Peace.
