Randolph C Rocks

Randy was born on June 4, 1958, and was raised by Mary Rocks, a Southern belle and Charles Rocks, an Air Force pilot.

Before he was our hero, he served in the Air Force, himself, and as an officer in the Bergen County NJ Prosecutors Office on the narcotics task force, where he assisted on the infamous Shadow Lake Murder case. Ever the adventurer, he then pursued a career as a commercial pilot.

Following the birth of his first child, he turned to (what he thought) was a less hazardous career in life insurance and finance, serving his clients diligently as founder of Rocks Financial Group for over 35 years. He also became a pillar in the Jensen Beach community and touched many lives, founding the Pop Warner Jensen Beach Cowboys and coaching Martin County High School football for 5 years.

His loves included traveling with his family, taking them out on boat days, working to beautify his homes, spending time in the Florida Keys, sitting on his fishing pier, making everyone around him laugh, engaging in friendly debates, and grilling “Blue” burgers while his loved ones lounged in swing chairs chatting about everything under the oak trees.

Randy passed away peacefully in his sleep, next to the love of his life, Dorothy, with all of his children, Michael, Kerry, and Nicole sleeping in their homes just down the street in either direction, and with his beloved hound curled up at his feet.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Naomi and Jaxon, his sister Sandra Rocks, his many extended family members, and his faithful and slightly grumpy, dog, Blue.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hutchinson Shores Resort. Smart Tropical Attire encouraged.
