Richard Everett Walls

Dick is survived by his children, son Robert Finney Walls of Jensen Beach FL, daughter Alice Walls Sortino of Pompano Beach FL , grandchildren, Desiree Sortino of West Palm Beach Kortney Sortino of Lighthouse Point, Joseph Sortino of Pompano Beach , great grandson Jeffery Paul Smith . He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ona Margaret Finney Walls, sister Alice Johnson and grandson David Sortino.

Dick was born on was born on August 9, 1931 to Alice Martha and Robert Wilson Walls. He graduated from University of Kansas with a degree in Geology. He was in the Navy during the Korean War stationed in San Diego, CA. He traveled the South with his wife for several years working in his field, ultimately working for State Farm Insurance as a Superintendent of Commercial Fire Underwriters.

He was a member of Rotary for many years, an avid sports fan, especially KU basketball. Go Jayhawks! He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tustin, CA and Stuart FL until his health declined.

Dick was a prideful, humble and loving man.

A memorial service will be 11 AM to 2 PM, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Eagle Marsh Clubhouse, 3735 NW Pin Oak Drive, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. Military Honors will be rendered at 1 PM.
