

Rosemary Morgan passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, at the age of 76. Rosemary was born on March 9, 1947, in Manhattan, NY, to the late George and Rose Schedl. She was raised and lived the majority of her life in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, NY.
Rosemary was a dedicated Staff Supervisor at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) for twenty-four years before joining the library staff at Brooklyn College, where she worked for over twenty years. She was a committed District Deputy and Past President of the Columbiettes and an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Palm Beach Civic Association, Pioneers, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
Rosemary was a devoted parishioner of St. Mark Parish in Brooklyn, NY, and when moving to Florida, she attended services at Saint Martin de Porres in Jensen Beach, FL. With her son and his family. She found joy in volunteering her time to community-based organizations and donating to causes that touched her heart.
She is survived by her loving son, Philip J. Morgan, daughter-in-law Patrice Morgan, grandsons John, Daniel, and Kevin, and brother John Fintland (Sonya). Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Philip A. Morgan, her mother, Rose Zill, father George Schedl, stepmother Esther Schedl, stepdaughter Peggy Morgan, and sisters Ann Finn and Joan Buckheit.
