Ryan Paul Eslinger, age 35, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away at home on May 5th, 2020. He leaves behind his mother, Alice Delevante, father, Paul Eslinger, and siblings Alicia and Luke Eslinger.
Ryan was born in Iowa City, Iowa and lived in Warwick, Rhode Island before settling in Fort Pierce, Florida where he spent most of his childhood. He was a well-read student and excelled in sports, particularly his beloved baseball, skateboarding and golf. He took up the guitar while living in Hershey, Pennsylvania and developed a passion for bluegrass, teaching himself to play the mandolin and banjo and was especially fond of Del McCoury and the Travelin’ McCoury’s. He loved attending Del Fest and was looking forward to this year’s festival. His love of the arts extended to plays, concerts and museums throughout New York City.
Ryan developed skills as a lab technician, testing community water samples and attended Millersville University. He was most recently attending Indian River State College in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Ryan’s quiet but infectious sense of humor endeared him to his friends and family and every family pet relished his attention.
Ryan’s Celebration of Life, followed by a reception, is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Shorelife Church 4550 NE Palmetto Drive, Jensen Beach, Florida. Pastor Mark Hubbard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Ryan’s name to Nala’s New Life Rescue (Stuart), Shorelife Church (Jensen Beach) or The Kane Center “Adult Day Care” (Stuart).
