Theresa Duggan

Born in Queens, New York, Mrs. Duggan had previously lived in Long Island before moving to Hutchinson Island and eventually settling in Stuart 28 years ago.

She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, and spent numerous hours volunteering in their soup kitchen, as well as their thrift store. Mrs. Duggan volunteered at Martin Memorial Medical Center for 10 years, and she was also a member of The Catholic Daughters, and the Classy Chicks.

Mrs. Duggan enjoyed a good party, and loved to go out and have fun. Her sharp sense of humor and wonderful smile could light up the room. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Mrs. Duggan is survived by her daughter, Veronica (John) Jones of Jensen Beach, FL; son, William (Loretta) of Long Island, NY; son, James of Albany, NY; son, Peter of Japan; grandchildren, Andrew, Catherine, Robert, Paul, Briana, and Sean; great grandson, Tyson; sister, Elizabeth; brother, Peter and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Martin de Porres in Jensen Beach. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Farmingdale, NY.
