Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I rented his cottage for 3 months 3 years ago and got to know Bill and his Family. Great People. I purchased a condo and always stopped to say hello to Bill when he was doing yard work. RIP Bill .

Bill, his siblings, my brother and I grew up together and lived at our grandparents place for a couple of years as kids.   We were more like brothers and sisters than first cousins.  He was just enough older than me that I could get away with a lot without too much in the way of physical punishment.  They are things that we have all laughed at over the years since.  I have had the privilege of seeing Bill's children grow into a fine group of teenagers and adults and it seems like only yesterday that Collins, Casey, Rachel and Jack were just babies.  I have always been close to his wife Farah and send all my love and condolences to her and the entire family at this sad time.  I had the fortune of seeing Bill only a few short weeks ago and am very glad that we got to talk and spend some time together.  Life can be very short at times and Bill Daye made the most of every minute he had of it.  Rest In Peace, Cousin Bill.

Our prayers go out to your family. Bill will be missed greatly by all and I will miss his friendship starting in the Navy and our time at Delta. He has left his mark on all of us and the world is a little dimmer without his presence.

Many wonderful memories were made throughout almost 30 years of friendship with Bill and Farah Daye. From early Delta flying days to watching our kids grow up go off to college, our friendship has endured. I loved Bill and will miss his laughter, stories , humor, wit and smile. It was such a delightful experience to connect with Bill Daye when he happened to stop by Florida Classics Library in Hobe Sound on his way to the airport. My husband and I happened to be there too and learned a great deal about early Miami and Bill's great uncle Henry Coppinger Jr. who wrestled alligators for tourists before the Seminole Indians began to do it.

WE KNEW MR. DAYE FROM BEING OUR CUSTOMER FOR SO MANY YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS A VERY NICE PERSON... HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.......OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY.........

I am so sorry for your loss, they are very difficult time, yet bible in jonh chapter 5:28-29 give us a beautiful hope. you can comfort him.

Bill was one of the good guys. The genuine article. My most sincere wishes of comfort and peace for his family during this time of grief.

You will be missed dear friend. You were one in a million.

Bill has been my college roommate, Navy "shipmate", and good friend for almost 40 years. Our prayers are with Farah and the family during this very sad time.

Bill will be sadly missed at Delta Airlines. He was well like by all that flew with him. Bill and I checkout together on the Airbus A-330. Bill a Delta (South) Captain and I a (North) Northwest Airlines Captain. We spent 30 days together, dinner and lots of computer classroom training learning the new checkout on the A-330. Bill was a great pilot and a great friend to all.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Jensen Beach Elementary School, we send Farah and the childrenour deepest condolences. Bill was an excellent parent, anexemplary airline pilot and a great mentor to our classes who participated in his class visits. He will be missed!
