He was born October 18, 1935 in Norristown, PA to William and Nellie (Rowland) Gordon.
Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Pop-pop enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family in Pennsylvania and Florida.
He served in the US Army from 1958-1959 at Fort Stewart, GA as a mechanic. Upon his return to civilian life, he owned and operated Gordon’s Service Station in Phoenixville, PA until his retirement.
He and his beloved wife, Arlene, were married 62 years. They are members of Saint Columbkill Parish in Boyertown, PA.
In addition to Arlene, he is survived by sons William (wife Christina, children Daniel and Mary) and Gary (wife Sharon, children Justin and Chelsea), and sisters Linda Heming (husband George), Margaret Ritschard (husband Dale), and Cynthia Brady (husband Richard).
Services will be held in Pennsylvania at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Columbkill Iona Memorial Fund.
