William was born in Dunlow, WV and moved to Stuart, 3 years ago coming from St. Albans, WV.
Prior to retirement Bill was a bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Line for thirty three years.
Survivors include two sons William Troy Sturgill of Daytona Beach, FL and Randy Lee Slye of Stuart, FL, a daughter Christianne Barfield, her husband Robert of Jensen Beach, FL, three brothers Roy Sturgill his wife Garnet of, OH, Richard Sturgill his wife Sue of, WV, Benny Jo Sturgill his wife Sandy of, OH, a sister Barbara Pack her husband Rob of, KY, three half sisters and six grandchildren.
William was predeceased by his beloved wife Sandra Wilson Sturgill.
