Auron was shaped by the steady rhythm of learning and community. He was a member of two homeschool communities CC Hope Abides and CC Covenant, and he wrestled for Science Hill High School. In every setting, he carried himself with a quiet decency that made others feel seen, and he brought a giving spirit to the people and places that mattered to him.
He was very active in the community, worked in freelance construction, and attended school. In the ordinary demands of work and daily responsibility, Auron’s kindness showed itself in practical ways through willingness, effort, and a readiness to step in where help was needed.
Auron loved being a big brother, and everything that entails. He had four younger siblings that he loved and sometimes gave a hard time, a bond marked by loyalty and care. His generosity was not loud or performative; it lived in the steady ways he showed up, the ways he protected, guided, and made room for others.
He enjoyed weight lifting and being physically active, and he was always looking for ways to improve himself and encourage others. He fiercely debated scripture and theology, holding conviction and respect together even when at odds with someone. He enjoyed fine art and reading, listened to music and wrote poetry, and found genuine joy in cooking for the people he loved—offering comfort and welcome through simple, thoughtful acts.
Auron held himself to high personal standards and expectations. He was driven and selfless stubborn but humble and he remained respectful even when disagreements were strong. His life reflected a sincere desire to grow, to serve, and to treat others with dignity. His legacy will be carried forward in the love he gave, the encouragement he offered, and the steady example of a generous heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cross Life Church on July 31, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Rodgers; and his great grandfather, Neil Brown.
He is survived by his parents, John and Tiffany Rodgers; his brothers, Dante Rodgers, Killian Rodgers, and Hero Rodgers; his sister, Lyla Rodgers; his bonus brother, Cameron Murphy; his girlfriend, Shelby Wooten; his grandparents, Gary and Frida Shaffer, and Mary Brown; his aunts, Rebecca Lindemulder, Elizabeth Rose, and Nathalia Shaffer; his uncle, Moses Rodgers (Christi); his bonus family, Aunt Mandi and Roswyn, Aunt Vicki and Brandon, and Uncle Austin and Aunt Beth; his second mom, Trista Green; and countless friends, extended family, and loved ones.
