Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Donald Feathers; her parents, Tiney and Lucy Miller; her 4 siblings, and a very special grandson who greeted her in heaven.
She leaves a legacy of love, stubbornness, and of devotion. Charlotte enjoyed working in her flower beds, building onto her home (often just because she felt like it), and spending time on the porch with a cigarette and a Sprite. Her nickname was Wreck-It Ralph, because she was always tearing something down or building something new. Charlotte raised her children and helped raise a slew of nieces and nephews. Her home was a place to go to be cared for and loved. She was proud of growing her business. Charlotte loved God and her family. Charlotte was tough, funny, loyal, and full of heart. She was a beautiful person, well loved, and she will be missed every single day.
Left to cherish Charlotte’s memory are her children, Jennie Crouse, Donald Feathers Jr and Laurie, Tracy Feathers and Christa, Vickie Plaster, and Rebecca Jauregui; her grandchildren, Billy Ray, Chad, Spencer, Rebekah, Laura, Gracie, Jessi, Chase, Ginger, and Dalton.
The family will receive friends at Monte Vista Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21st, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 11:00 AM in the chapel, followed by a graveside committal service at 12:00 PM, both at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
Arrangements especially for Mrs. Charlotte L. Feathers and her family have been made through Monte Vista Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1900 E. Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, TN; 423-282-2631.
