

Connie was born in Kingsport, TN and the daughter of the late Paul and Erma Bentley. She was also preceded in death by husbands Ralph Johnson, Terry Gentry and Lou Milsap, one sister, Mary Smith and three brothers, Paul Bentley Jr, Earl Bentley and Ronald Bentley.
Connie was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, and growing flowers. She also loved the dogs she had in her life. They brought much comfort to her, especially Gracie, her last dog. She was employed by the Johnson City School System as a cook at Town Acres Elementary School for many years and later as a cook at Mountain Home VA.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in laws, Clay Johnson and wife Dottie, Ken Johnson and wife Shelagh. Also included are grandchildren Hilary Reeks and John Theodorski and great grandchildren, Dylan and Brooklyn Reeks, Tori Ruff and Jessica Theodorski, Parker and Evelyn Blough and several nephews.
A private graveside service was conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in the Garden of Peace at Monte Vista Memorial Park, Johnson City, TN. Officiating the service was Pastor Brien Sturgill and Pastor Dale Cunningham.
