Freddie Dean Saults Sr.

Freddie Dean Saults, Sr., age 80, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a son of the late George W. Saults, Sr. and Georgia Erwin Saults. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary “Nadine” Saults; one daughter, Kathy Gail Gaddy; and one son, Freddie Dean Saults, Jr.

Freddie was the owner and operator of Johnson City Oil Burner Service. He was a member of the Johnson City Moose Lodge where he had served as Past Governor and was also a member of the Johnson City Elks Lodge. He loved to golf, was a very hard worker and will be remember as one who was a comedian and loved to cut up and have fun.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael Saults and wife Toy; five grandchildren, Ashley Johnston and husband Patrick, Alan Saults and wife Chelsea, Candice Gaddy, Christopher Saults, and Tina Saults; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Committal Service and Interment will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the Garden of Peace at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Greg Doebler officiating. Pallbearers will be William Gaddy, Alan Saults, Christopher Saults, Patrick Johnston, Tyler Lewis, and Colton Saults.
