Janet Couch Bridwell

Janet was born October 19, 1947, in New Castle, PA to John & Esther Weisz Leonhardt. Mom, Dad, Janet, and her 4 siblings eventually moved to California. It was there she met Robert Couch.

Janet & Bob moved to Jonesborough and, over two decades, raised Bob's children. After Bob died, Janet met & married Ray Bridwell. They were married 15 plus years. After Ray's death, she made many more happy memories with David Dalton, who was among the family & friends that surrounded her at her Home-going.

Janet leaves behind her sisters, Mary Lou & Bonnie (Jeff); Bob's children, Scott (Sandy) & Vicky; Bob's grandchildren, Whitney & Aaron and September & Jeffrey; Bob's great-grandson, Jacob; Ray's daughter, Melissa (Mike) and their son, Alex; and a congregation of beloved friends & fellow worshippers at Jonesborough United Methodist Church.

On Wednesday, August 12th, at Jonesborough United Methodist Church, at 1pm, there will be a visitation, and at 2pm a Celebration of Janet's life, with a Fellowship to follow. The church is located at 211 West Main Street, http://www.jnsbrumc.org.
