Jeneice Belton Bowman, 75, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Obie Belton, Sr. and Alvern Cornwell Belton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Mickey Dean Bowman.
Jeneice was a graduate of Science Hill High School Class of 1969. She was a Bus Driver for Johnson City Transit and was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed gardening and sharing her beliefs with others.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey Daigle and husband Joe, Mary Haney and husband John, Zenith Knupp and husband Steve, Leneta Belton, Ora Newton, Vern Oxendine, Verl Cannon, and Kay Kornikoski; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Obie Belton, Jr. and wife Mary, Robert Belton and wife Suzi, and William Belton and wife Denise; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and the staff at the Johnson City Cancer Center and staff of Caris Hospice for all their love and care that was shown.
